my guess would be he is clicking on the return to today screen button after clicking on the start menu (honeycomb) when he should chose the settings then today... just a guess.

downloading now. had a few bugs with the display on 4.1.3 when looking at the inbox for email or all messages. there was a part at the top of the display under the taskbar that would not seem to update.

could not update email settings after initial account setup.

workaround for ringer worked fine for me. just wonder what the actual problem is? loaded ringers in proper folders then they showed up in tf3d but would not stick when set. in phone options they were reported as corrupt file. but when using your work around they would all set fine... sure you will work it out.

also activsync worked fine for me in all respects using outlook 2007. usb sync.

also phone locks up quite often. might be something I did though. tried loading a diff battery driver and that seems to have been a huge mistake. after I got rid of it seems to have stabilized a bit.

i'll let you know if any of my particular problems where resolved in 4.1.4.

First thing I am noticing on 4.1.4 is that the taskbar icons don't seem to align prperly. flashed and then hard reset twice. have installed or changed nothing.

The only thing that I see so far besides the taskbar icons is when I trasition to landscape mode in the email inbox list view or text message conversation list it does not display correctly. if i bring a conversation up in landscape then close it the display is then correct.

still some ringtone issues but it seems better and they can be set through tf3d and survive through a soft reset.

I guess program compatibily will be a prob for a while. PHM Regedit and a few others are having serious GUI issues with the new menu/scrollbar setup.

If you have not already noticed load up PHM Regedit and take a look, seems like all will have to port apps for this unless 6.5 is going to be back compatible.
