Re: Thinking of upgrading your Diamond's browser, here's a comparison
Flash in Opera has always been pretty sketchy for me. It's really slow and buggy. I've turned it off even though it works.

The results mirrored my experiences as well. Not sure why anyone would use any browser but Opera Mini (Day to Day) and Skyfire (Flash). Everything else is a waste of time (literally, look at the load times)
That said, the new Opera browser is pretty sweet, and props to the the Opera team for the improvements. Props to the OP to for the thread. :) |

It would be nice to seen PIE 5.0, PIE 6.0, and PIE 8.0 added to this comparison.

While we're talking about browsers, I was wondering if someone could identify this version of PIE; I'd never seen it before until I used a custom kitchen off here about 3 months ago. It seems to support any ActiveX control I've thrown at it, including Flash and even the Windows Genuine control!

one thing i llove about iris compared to opera mobile? the quick scroll box that shows up at the bottom right or top left on long webpages. i hate having to scroll and scroll and swipe and swipe to get to the bottom in opera mobile
