I've read on this site that you don't want to relock unless you are taking it back. Once it is unlocked you leave it unlocked unless you are taking it to the sprint store. I'm pretty sure on the hardspl forum it says not to relock unless you absolutely have to.

yeah, no need to re-lock your phone unless you've flashed the shipped rom and are taking it back to the store/sending it in. :thumbright:

"Relocking Your Phone:

This is only here for informational purposes. By no means do you need to relock your phone unless you're taking it back to the store.

1. Follow the Unlocking procedure to install the necessary programs (.Net 3.5 and syncing program).
2. Download the Diamond Relocker.
3. Open the .rar and drag the Diamond Relocker folder to a convenient place.
4. Run the RomUpdateUtility.exe
5. Enjoy your relocked phone. (Locked)"

What the heck? No you don't lock your phone unless you want to spend a few hours making it work again. *facepalm*

The point of unlocking the bootloader is so you can flash custom ROMs without errors from the locked bootloaders, hence the term "unlocking".
