Heh, I released mine because I was exited about how my personal ROM turned out and its now grown a small but loyal following and I'm trying to keep them happy but I gots NO TIME!!! Heh I can't flash 5 times a day, I'd never finish any of my important personal stuff.

I say keep them coming, I'll keep flashing, I have plenty of :coffee:

I've never loved a phone before I got this diamond, actually I hated my touch since the day I bought it (full price) then like a year later I went looking for the diamond and complained about my touch to the Sprint guy and he said he'd flash my touch to be like the diamond. I absolutely loved it then. He showed me this site and I've never looked back. (still learning but loving both phones now) I did get the diamond anyway and never felt soo strongly about loving a phone. I have OMJ's rom and the new Sprint radio 1.11.00f Plenty of custom apps and just want to share my excitement of being here. I even dyed the back cover black which looks amazing.

I am a noob. Well not even a noob. I am a tadpole. I am trying to gather information to decide if I want to flash my ROM. I have a Mogul. I have the WM 6.1 upgrade. It is limited as everyone knows.

What does flashing your ROM really give you? Do apps run faster? Do you increase your main memory (which is what I want to do)? Can you run multiple apps without having to do a soft reset? Does Opera run faster? As of now, my Opera internet experience is average. It runs faster than IE, but moving a page with my finger feels like a chore.

I have many more questions but I don't want to scare anyone off. If some one could answer the fundemental questions like why do this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

The basic answer is you have the potential to increase speed, battery life and functionality on your phone.

The answer most people that hang around here are going to give you is that it is easy to learn how to do, so do a little reading and try it for yourself, then decide if it was worth it.

All the information you need is already on this forum.
