Help me change the pagepool

I am following the tutorial for changing the pagepool but the hex editor can't find the string.

Here is an alternative for you. If you replace the referenced string in the OP:

Code:

03 15 A0 03 06 16 A0 13 00 10 83 E5 E9 BB FF EB
With:

Code:

03 15 A0 03 06 16 A0 13 00 00 A0 E1 E9 BB FF EB
it will read the value set by the pagepool changers that are available. However, it will probably not do the dynamic/static variable. I believe it will only be static pagepools at that point.

I opened ruu_signed.nbh in XVI32. I trying to do Mighty's to 32. I'm sure I'm just missing out on some small detail.

Any kind of help would be appreciated! :)

Here is the Pagepool changer. Open up the NBH file with it, and then select what pagepool size you want. Select change, and thats it. Then you can flash the nbh.

There's even a pagepool changer included next to Mighty's RUU. It's standard issue.

It doesn't change the pagepool. I think the rom needs to be unlocked first...look at the available memory

EDIT:

Here is a quote from the sale thread:

"Below are examples of some possible values for the first two bytes of the pagepool offset.

03 15 - Sprint Diamond WM 6.1 stock rom (1.09) default; 12MB dynamic (When viewed under Settings -> System -> Memory, you should have around 203.84MB of Total Program memory available.)
02 15 - 8MB dynamic
01 15 - 4MB dynamic
18 16 - 24MB static (should give you around 191.84MB Total Program memory)
10 16 - 16MB static (should give you around 199.84MB Total Program memory)"

and at 20mb, you get 196.63mb total program memory using the pagepool changer I included. It works the way it should.

Pagepool changer doesnt work for me on the roms I tested.

I've tested it on all the Custom Diamond Roms (this is the Diamond forum) available without any problems.

Someone can't just give you a 48mb pagepool. They would have to download the nbh for the rom you want, change the pagepool, and then upload it for you.

Re: Help me change the pagepool

actually they can give me the value that 48mb should be, which is all I'm asking :) 20 16 is 32mb static, 18 16 is 24mb static, and 10 16 is 16mb static.

What would the bit value for 48mb be?

By the way I have a touch pro, but I found this thread via search and figured it would be a good spot to make a request that could be easily answered and on topic.
