How long before we have a Alltel Stock radio Dump?
 

I see some serious programmers latley on the PPC6850 more than the good old ppc6700, ppc6800.

I guess Whats the catch of not being able to do a radio dump from the Alltel TP RAPH? Is the code hex tied into MEID? As we are able to write over it ok.

I'm and old schooler in programming Cobol, RGPII,

I would like hear from the pro's on what the catch from extracting it is?

What I'm curious is that we can flash over the 1.03.6F but we can't dump it?

It can be dumped no problem, the problem is rebuilding the Radio to a flashable (and non-bricking) form. It's been tried, we were trying for a while to get the stock Telus radio working, but with the selection of Radios available now it was pointless, and from the many weeks of work, I do not believe anything was finalized, and as far as I know the project was abandoned.

It's probably possible, but very difficult and pointless.
