Funny, after he sells you can I can do the cross examine the witness. My findings with Ie6 are not good when we did the browser wars test. sure it renders pages like opera, but not nearly as fast, sometimes never at all. it also has a font issue that doesnt allow you to increase the font to a size easy enought to work with so you normally need a stylus to click on things. ie6 has promise but it's not even in the ballpark with Opera, or Opera mini, netfront, Iris, the list goes on and on. shoot I forgot to the let the witness speak first:) Just my opinion though.

there is a app call IE toggler that allows you to switch from ie to pie. not sure if it would do the opposite but its worth trying. Here's further info on this: try it out coe03

Ah, thanks man. I wonder if there will ever be a way to just patch firmware because it's such a pain to reformat.

Mind if I just ask a noob question.....?

I was trying to replace the PhoneOff.wav and PhoneOn.wav sound files in the windows directory to some of my own. However, using Total Commander I can't seem to overwrite the files for some reason. I tried re-setting the attributes from read only to full but they change right back. I can't rename or move them even after a soft reset.

Anybody have any suggestions with this....thanks!

Things to consider for this ROM...
***Since Toggleing BT is no longer as easy as sliding to the right and hitting BT... And I now have to go into communications before I can toggle BT. Is there a BT toggle app. I could just add to my Programs window? I'm liking this new ROM a lot. but that one thing, is a pain...

Toggle ON and OFF i assume? Under the HOME screen at the bottom you will see the words "action" press the ACTION softkey and bluetooth is at the bottom right hand corner....Press to turn on, press to turn off...

OK WOW. I def had the wrong RSTG load on there! It was awesome though... just a lil buggy.. Much prettier.. I don't understand why on this one.. he has a tab with the connections and also can press action and toggle BT.. seems a bit redundant.. Maybe add a button on the action page for phone.. In case you wanna just dial a number directly. That would be nice...

I want to pull up dial pad with a soft key...With my case it takes like 30 try's using the call button to bring up dial pad..If i am not mistaken i use to just map phone.exe as a soft key and it would bring up dial pad. Oh, ok.... Make the following changes then...

Note: To make the changes to the Right softkey: visually substitute "LSK" for "RSK" to do the RightSoftKey... I've already included those in the registry... __________________
