Being the newbie, running stock Sprint rom with many tweaks/additions, is this something I should download, or should I get update over the air by selecting updates in phone menu?????
Will it affect things I have done to my phone, I do have everything backed up on spb??

I don't know if sprint released the rom out for downloading yet, but if they did you can check with ur phone and upgrade...

Or you can also wait for the chefs to implement the goodies to their roms or for the individual cabs and add them to your stock rom.

Well I think it will hard reset your device, but if you have everything backed up there shouldn't be anything for you to worry about. Of course you'd be trying out the rom so if you want feedback you will have to wait for the others who are trying it already.
EDIT: check post #38, I think after you install bootsplash it'll cause device to hard reset quote:

I'd like to know that as well...but maybe my noob brain won't be able to comprehend it. Maybe it's not that complicated since much of the things that work on the diamond work on the TP as well.

The biggest program change for me was the inclusion of FM Radio on the cooked roms. I used it a ton at football games.
