I cleared my internal storage when I started having issues, too. I would clear storage, hard reset or even flash a different rom, but nothing helped until I flashed the Sprint OEM as described above. Good suggestion, though...

I experienced the same issue about two days ago, for the first time ever. I have been using Mighty's ROMS on my GF's and my phone for a long time, but decided to give Calkulin's a quick stint on hers before going from MSR 3.7 to 3.8. I tried all kinds of things, it would freeze on boot, and when it would boot ActiveSync wouldn't work. When I was about to get AS to work and put MSR back on, same issues. Going to Sprint shipped seemed to have fixed it.

I have been putting every version of MSR on both of our phones including 19xxx and 20xxx series so I can't agree with it being the cause of the problem. But I can agree that going back to the OEM fixed it!

well formatting the internal storage seemed to help a little, but about 24hrs later and it's happened again.

flashing the shipped ROM/radio now.

*seems to have done the trick, i'll report back if it doesn't.

I messed with it a lot and I really don't think the internal storage has anything to do with it. Both Diamonds I've had had the Internal Storage 2 issue but other than that nothing else. Seems that going back to OEM is the solution.

I actually just ran into this exact problem tonight. Gonna flash back to stock and then try again.

*edit* I just downloaded the Sprint Stock rom from the TC/Ghetto kitchen thread and it just came with the .nbh. Do I just drop that in any ruu folder and run the update utility?

Happened again on my phone now! Between going from MSR 3.8 to 3.9 I gave Blue ROM a stint and the same thing happened, actually worse; I can't even get past the HTC or boot screen so I can't even flash back to stock! Any suggestions anyone????

well after flashing the stock shipped
rom i thought i would be fine. no dice
my phone will boot, but i cant open my contacts, and a few other programs.
might try flasing the stock rom again, if it happens the phone is going back to sprint.
