Works beautifully with Calkulins kitchen. Thanks a million...Just a side note, I initially tested with htc headphones, and could not tell difference. Then used my skull candy and WOW...night and day difference when toggling on and off. |

That's what I love about this place....Someone always knows something you don't, and you can fill that space between your ears with as much useless junk as you want! First I'd like to release a version of neupackageinstaller.zip neupackageinstaller.zip This archive contains two files. 1. Copy these to \My Documents on your device. They must be in the same directory! 2. Take the OEM you want to install, make it a .zip archive and copy it to the \My Documents directory. 3. Use your favorite file explorer and launch neupackageinstaller.exe. Note: This is No2Chem's baby, I made the files available for those wanting to use my OEM's and don't want to flash! Pay omage to no2chem, he helped pave the way for us! I followed the instructions above but i get this error when i try to open my OEM. ( Package does not contain option.xml! nuepackageinstaller must now exit ) can someone tell me what am i doing wrong. |

I'm pretty sure it needs an initflashfiles.txt file too. You can just use an empty .txt doc that's named initflashfiles.txt |

Ok, maybe this is a dumb question but since I use package creator a lot for making OEM's, and more often then not it will rename files (for obvious reason) and then rename them correctly when it drops them in the correct folder. My question then is, is it safe to remove those renamed files from the windows folder? Basically you have duplicated the files and made your rom that much bigger. I havce never seen anyone talk about removing them and frnakly, curious as to why package creator copies/renames isntead of just moves/removes them.
