Click when using keyboard or other?

I don't know if you guys saw how the Blackberry Storm when you click the keyboard it makes clicking sounds to enable the fact that you clicked each button. I was wondering if something like this is available for our diamond. Never really considered this as a option but after I saw it in use its actually pretty cool.
Thanks

Use screen taps (as mentioned above) and add Touch Response and you will get the exact affect as the BB.

You all are aware that the BB Storm isnt just a sound, the whole screen when pressed, actually pops like a button. The click sound isnt a software sound at all but actual hardware.

Nice! To bad there is no more verizon in PR so I could go to a store to check that out. So it has maybe a grid of poping bubbles or something under the screen and they layout the interface uniformly over them so that the screen pops realistically like a button? Interesting bit of innovation there. Gonna have to go ahead and read a review of it.

No, The whole screen actually depresses down into the housing slightly like a huge button. Ill post a link to a video that shows it.

I've tried it, if you turn screen taps on (loud) and add the new program Touch Response, it feels like "virtually" the same thing.

Tried the Storm? Im sorry but the Diamond screen doesnt press down in the house with an actual physical response. The storm screen ACTUALLY feels like you are pressing a button. I will have to check out the touch response thing, Very curious now... :drunken:

Keep in mind i used the word "virtual". touch response is very nice as far as "touch feed back" programs go. Its the "loud" screen tap with touch response that gives the "button effect". It's obviously not the exact same thing.

OK. Thank you for elaborating. Just didnt wanna give anyone that reads this post a false sense of hope. Lol. Thanks for the input though on the touch response. Gotta try it out.

Meh... Just read the Engadget review for the storm and they do say the screen feels good (wich is what I was expecting) but they sort of mopped the floor with it because it fell short both on being a very good RIM device (a fast e-mail typing machine) and also fell short on being able to contend with the iPhone's ease of use. But yeah they do say the screen is very nice, although implemented incorrectly on the storm. I found it quite nice that they said that you can hover your finger over the screen and move around without actually selecting anything until you depress the screen and click it, its also multi-touch capable.

In the end, the phone sucks, the screen rocks!

HTC!! TAKE A CUE FOR YOUR NEXT PHONE!! Capacitive clickable screen!!

Yeah I would never give up my Diamond for the Storm. Agreed that the screen is really cool but the real reason I have stuck with WM devices is the massive amount of customization. Try playing medal of honor on the new Storm...... Sorry maybe next time CrackBerry.

Wow I am loving the Touch Response. I actually looked for something like this a while back and didnt come accross anything. This is great. Thanks to the poster.

I found that it lagged touch flo. I tried going back and fourth quickly in Tflo, just sliding my finger, it's lag-less in 20931 and some other sys, but with the Touch Respone, it lags.

Re: Click when using keyboard or other?

No lag here on juicy 3.7 rom using 19972. Still smooth like butta!

No prob. someone else actually pointed me towards it(there is a thread here about it somewhere). Anyway, I advise you to adjust the settings (milliseconds) this will help with the TF3D lag. You can disable it in call, and I believe the maker is working on other upgrades (like exclusions, TF3D etc.)
