Hey, anyone bored enough to explain the new "message client". Is it something new because i dont think i cooked it in. Oh, and a pic would be nice. :)

I had another issue with my first rom. I included the new messaging client, which I like for texting, but the email panel in Titanium already had an account setup (something about MSG or something - it was late) and I couldn't open it to delete the account or create a new one. Anyone else experience this?

I am running 23064 and the only way i got the task manager to work is to hold down on the clock for a few seconds, then it pops up. now the prob is it doesnt do it everytime but more times than not it works

the new messaging client is in manila 2.1. if you cooked that in, then you will see it...

The new messaging client replaces the WM texting interface. I don't think it is dependent on Manila since calk has it under applications in his kitchen (just like how the comm manager does not depend on manila).

I wanna try the new message client but im at work. Is it in Calks roms? I figured while im bored at work, i can just flash one of Calks roms to try it out.

Great rom!

I prefer the regular HTC notification enhancements. Any known issue if I try to install it?

Also, any quick way of showing running apps to switch between them without having to go to task manager?

I would assume it's in his rom (at least the manila version), but do not know for sure. I haven't texted much with it (just did the 'test' one to get you a screenshot). One thing I did notice while deleting the text on the second screenshot I posted, it just said 'draft' or something like that with a yes/no after choosing to delete it. It also replaces the WM 'Messaging' program in the start menu with an HTC version.
