lol thats total bull they fed you because its included in the Sprint ROM on the Touch Pro which is the exact same phone and screen. they totally lied to you basically so you didnt complain the Pro had it and not the Diamond

Business Card Reader will only work with with XIP 20757.

seeing as the sys has nothing to do with the XIP, yes, it will work with 20931.
