Re: Aftermarket Batteries

www.expansys.com sells both the GSM and CDMA batteries. The CDMA battery is $54.99 which includes the black Diamond shaped cover. Shipping is $5.00 for USPS Priority shipping. I cancelled my order because I got a spare battery from Sprint directly. I gave the rep $20 for the spare.

Re: Aftermarket Batteries

Never use aftermarket batteries in your device.

The oem battery has a chip inside it that relays information to the phone. Which is the reason your phone is not giving you any information about the battery, It cant because there is no chip. Thats the reason the oem battery costs $$.

Other reasons you should not do it is because if that batter is off spec even by a little but it can brick your phone or even EXPLODE!

In case anyone was wondering, HTC gave me the phone number for Expansys as one of their distributors for OEM Batteries.
