G-Light: save some battery

Thought you guys might be interested, found over at XDA. With this tool you can adjust your backlight levels according to the values your light sensor measures.
You can also change the interval how often the light sensor should be accessed.

With those two features you will save some battery power.

Yes, I've been using this for a week now. I found it in the Touch Pro forum. It's great.

It doesn't already do this? When I go outside, my screen gets brighter after a few seconds. I assumed it already adjusted screen brightness depending on the light sensor.

This program lets you adjust what ambient light values correspond to what screen brightness values, and it lets you set the interval at which the system polls the light sensor. So in other words you're going to adjust it to not check as often and dim more.

Naice, I was wondering about something like this. I've been adjusting light sensor polling to 1 second using Advanced Config but I wanted to adjust how much brightness is applied depending on light levels, not to save juice actually I'd like to have a brighter screen sometimes.

Good find!
