Touch Diamond CDMA help

I have recently purchased a touch diamond from alltel, however i receive poor cell reception at my house. to get around this problem in the past i was able to go into my old samsung phone's service programming and turn PRL off. this would allow my device to be roaming but connect with the best receptive tower around my house giving me the strongest signal. (i went from 0 service to 3/5 bars but roaming which doesnt cost me anything.)

I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the PRL or if anyone could offer any idea's into how i would get better service.
thanks

there's a PRL update thread in this forum...search around. i dont think that it contains any Alltel PRLs, but google is your friend also.

Re: Touch Diamond CDMA help

you need to know your MSL code .. if you already have it then dial ##PRL#, enter your MSL code and all easy from there :D

whats the ##PRL#, is that ##775# like letters? or like a prl number ##51101#?, i tried the 2nd one and it just gives me a call error

Re: Touch Diamond CDMA help

should be 775 and i think for alltel phones you dial ##775 and hit send.. for sprint ##775# without send... if that code didn't work try ##778#...
