Hi Juicy,

I'm just bumping this question again. Do you have any idea which registy setting would affect this. Of couse to test is again we will have to wait till the markets open back up again.

I am able to make it work by restoring a backup made by SPBbackup from a 2.7 rom. But since SPBbackup also restores some registry settings I don't know what 'new improvements' I'm overwriting with some old settings.

Does anyone know what exact registry settings I need to change to make Opera continuously update. I know that when the screen is continuously updating (and thus the data connection remains open) that it eats a lot of battery life, so I'm thinking that one of the battery 'fixes' is probably causing this problem.

Juicy, or any others, do you have any idea ?

This works to make the phone start fm without a headset, but I can get no stations. Has anyone found a way to play music without the actual headset plugged in? I even tried a 6 foot usb cable, thihking it might act as an antenna. I'm in NYC where the reception is not an issue for most stations, but the diamond gets nothing without the actual headset.

I've put out 2 roms over a weekend.... 3.3 is not coming "soon"

is it just me or is the battery only updating every 10% in 3.1 while it was updating in 1% increments previously? is this fixed in 3.2 or 3.3? thx

There's no internal antenna for the FM radio - the headset works as the antenna, hence why you need it to be plugged in....


the fact that it's working is incredible - who cares of you need a headset plugged in....just bunch it up into a little package and it's no annoyance at all.
