Re: Opera 2649 Get it here first

I installed the new Opera, and now the Sprint homepage does not recognize my device. I'm concerned because this is where updates are posted. Is there a fix to this?

got it! i forgot that MemMaid can stop processes that're running in the background. i had to cut opera.exe and operapref.exe to get it to install.

and here is how you get powerdeck to recognize it as the diamond, props to 8notime, who helped me.

Open Opera and go to opera:config, then check your Custom User Agent setting under the user prefs section. change the setting to "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.11) Sprint MP6950SP"

Thank you so much! That fixed the issue after I changed that, pressed "save" on the bottom, and did a soft reset.

Where do we do this? I tried looking in the file and that was already written in there but it still doesn't recognize my device? Am I looking in the wrong place? Anybody else having issues with this browser? Mine has shut down on me four or five times in the last day!
