Also, did you install the reg tweaks he supplied in the download?

Well, can't find a solution to the above problem. I tried hard reset and not using the registry tweaks but the phone still reboots right after getting satellites. Will have to revert back to another rom until the problem can be found. Super fast rom though and was the only issues I have found so far.

I downloaded yesterday's 20924 and flashed it, and everything was working fine. And today, I downloaded new Updated 20924 just to see the difference and they both worked without problems.

Which is weird because I don't have this issue on any other rom. Just this one. You didn't say if you installed the tweaks though which after some testing, didn't change anything for me anyway.

I did load up Sprint/Alltel 20921 about an hour or so ago and everything is working perfectly with that one. No GPS issues/reboots. I am wondering if the issue might have been something installed with the other rom that isn't in 20921. Then again it might just be the sys file. Honestly I don't know. I just know it's working with 20921 with the registry tweaks and all but didn't with 20924.

Oh yeah, I used the reg tweaks everytime I flashed.

Juicy mentioned that 20921 is definitely the fastest between 20924 and 22222, so I'm gonna give 20921 a try. I'll report back if it's noticeably faster.

Speed wise, I have not seen a big difference between 20921 and 20924. Both seem to be fairly speedy.

Not been able to try 22222 myself yet since no roms are floating around with it. But I have found 20921 to be the most issue free/stable so far compared to 20924...with my limited testing and knowledge.

Seriously, I should thank you guys for all the hard work you put into making ROMs better and better. To think what we got from the Sprint ROM to this is mind boggling.

When I came from the Touch running WDM's ROM I was very disappointed with the Diamond, UNTIL Juicy released 2.6, and I love the Diamond now. And to think it'll get better with new SYS....

Kitchen And 20924

KITCHEN AND 20924

These are the problems I found so far:

Settings>Power>Backlight> UNSELECTING AUTO ADJUST and playing with the selectors does not adjust the brightness

When using the kitchen, unselecting Advanced Config, SPB Screenshot and QuickGPS will still cook them and put them in the device anyway.

I have also tried the GPS with google maps and live search AND HAND NO PROBLEMS, but I did not install the reg tweaks. I will try it as soon as I convert it to a .cab and install it in the device. If I have any problems I will post it to update my findings.

It's because of the 20755 XIP and gwes. Only way to fix is go back to 19965 as of yet.

On a side note, I've released a few more things in the Kitchen sticky, including official release of 2.01 Kitchen, 1.08 OEM and 20924 SYS.

Thanks again to Calcu for all the help in porting these, and the original find!
