I upgraded to the Verizon radio from Sprint, and I noticed data is SLIGHTLY slower. Probably less than half a second difference, but it's noticable to me because the way I use it has me loading a bunch of small webpages (a new page every 2-3 seconds).

It generates a lot less heat and the battery life seems a lot better so far though. I think I'll keep it even if the data is slightly slower.

i did the flash and all is good, but when it hard reset, it didn't have a data connection... i'm in the process of restoring from my backup, but how do i fix this?

i dont know why u wouldn't have a data connection. the radio hard resets the device and after fresh boot my evdo worked no issues.


what is the error you're getting?

Why restore from backup... once flashed/hard reset, you may not see an active data connection....just go to settings/communication and press the data connection, also do a soft reset couple times (power on/off and taking off battery)... you should be all set....

i did so much stuff to the registry and whatnot that i didn't want to have to bother installing apps again, editing the registry, stuff like that... and i need the text messages and whatnot too. it says error code 67>\pcs vision username and or password may be incorrect please try again

you lost your MIP

whats your carrier. you need to install carrier cab to restore epst.
