That is really only for much more advanced users, but yes. 0.43.CMONEX will also work. Basically, if it doesn't have her name, and you didn't make the spl yourself, no flashy for you.

Yeah, we've noticed spotty behaviour with it too.

Did you include LongSendEnd Keypress from the phone group?

I included "long key End press" in General Utilities, but dont have LongSendEnd in phone group. Just to be clear, holding down the End key DOES work, its holding the Send key that DOESNT work....

We'll look into it. Are you starting in bootloader or in WM when flashing? Does it make a difference, as far as this issue is concerned?

Bootloader. Have never tried it with WM before.

Here are 4 issues Ive noticed.

1. If I include Diamond Volume into the build, it doesnt work. The volume buttons will actually turn into a jog wheel, and it moves the cursor up and down in all programs, including manilla.

2. I no longer have a "long send key press" in the buttons selection menu. Ive tried multiple builds with different selections, and nothing will help.

3. If I select sprint manilla, the email tab no longer displays the email animation. The notification number shows up, but no envelope, and it says "no messages."

4. I also have to manually delete /my documents/build os/ for the build to work, if not I get the getdeviceinfo.exe access denied error.

p.s. Im not using ANY user oems, only the included ones.

I tired building without the volume and still I cannot adjust the volume... what do you do then...?

What significance does building with a bootloader have? tienmann or sd...diamond doesn't even have sd...

There are basically three ways to flash your diamond.
1. Run the RUU with your phone booted (running WM).
2. Run the RUU with your phone in bootloader.
3. Press Power + VolDwn + Back + Reset with a ROM named DIAMIMG.nbh in the root of the Internal Storage.

1 allows things like a sSPL to be run first to allow a hSPL to be applied.
1 requires at least 50% battery life.
1 shows your current ROM version and the future ROM version.

2 has no battery requirement.
2 shows only future ROM version.

3 should have no battery requirement
3 does not show any versions, but does show what aspects are included in the ROM (will only say OS since we only flash Operating System ROMs here really)
3 can be done anywhere as long as your image is on the device (but if it's just the one you already have on there, it would make more sense to do a Hard Reset).

Technicly, they all have a battery requirement :)

You can turn it off or reduce it in the RUU configuration file, if you like. It's on for safety reasons. If you run out of power while flashing, you will brick your device.

Haha, yeah, you'd want to make sure you have at least 5% so that it doesn't die when you flash, because that would be pretty silly. Not necessarily bricked if it's just an OS flash, but I don't see why someone wouldn't flash from WM unless they'd screwed something up anyways.

Older devices didn't (and still don't) always transition properly.

I usually just flash from whatever mode I'm in...which is usually bootloader :).

Re: Victor WM6.1 Build 20755 kitchen

i think i'm giving up on ppckitchen for the time being...all my builds screw up and freeze at splash after the first soft reset happens. I can't even get by not soft resetting because i think no matter what options i choose with regards to the ringer control, after ringer volume gets adjusted and i try and make a call it will connect and power cycle. That or I'll answer a call and it will power cycle.

If anyone knows what may be going on please let me know for now i'll see if I can get all the cab files for the missing options that i don't have in gtc kitchen.
