Ok I think I got the button pushes down. But a screen comes up to restore factory defaults. I then restore. But when it reboots still the same problem.
Am I trying to get to the reboot screen? Or is there still a different screen I need?

You can enter the BootLoader at any time by pressing Power+VolumeDown and holding down Reset until it appears.

no need to hold the camera button to get to the bootloader....hope that helps!

hes got a diamond, no camera button.

I'm very sorry but I still cant seem to get to a screen to do this. Once I do the button presses. The screen that comes up is to do a factory restore. I don't understand how to flash a new rom from this restore screen. Or are you saying once the factory is restored then flash.

If this is the case. Once I do the factory restore it still comes continues to reboot.

I hope I don't upset you. If I have I'm sorry.

your not upsetting anyone, we all make mistakes. just try flashing another(cdma) rom. see what you get. post results.

My last post may not have made sense.
Once I press vol down, power, enter, and reset. It brings up a restore factory reset screen. AT this point the only options it gives is to vol up to restore or press other key to cancel.

When the pda reboot it is still showing the touch diamond logo and continues to reboot over and over again.

Should I be trying to flash from the reboot screen?
If yes, How do I do this?

To bring up the boot loader, hit power+vol down+reset, This will get you into the boot loader. If you add the center button to that combo, itll take you to do a hard reset, aka factory reset. However itll reset u to the currently flashed rom, as it thinks that is factory. Good Luck

Wow this got pretty complicated for a simple problem.

1. Power + VolumeDown + Reset ONLY until the tricolour screen appears.
2. Choose and download ROM you want to flash.
3. Plug in phone to computer.
4. Run RomUpdateUtility.
5. Try to be more careful.
