Problems unlocking phone [RESOLVED]
 

Hi all, I am new to this flashing business,
Every time i try to run the unlock untility it fails saying "Error [202] Connection 'the update ultility cannot connect to your PDA phone.'"
This happens even though an active sync connection has occured.
I do not get any messages on my phone when i run the unlock utility, and after a series of clicking "next" i receive the aforementioned error.

Should i unlock my phone without active sync? How would i do this?

Did you follow every step of the tutorial, including making sure you have .net 3.5?

yes, I followed the steps. But I cant get to step 9.
after i click the final next my computer shows the progress bar which remains a zero, and then after about 30 sec. i receive the error.
I installed .net framework, and restarted my pc.

i tried both 'DiamondC_HSPL057' and 'Diamond Unlocker'.
I also tried a hard reset and did not set up active sync, ignored the set up popup window and still.... Error [202]!

MANY MANY THANKS TO YOU. I have flashed my vogue, titan and many others before many many times with no issues either loaing the ROMS or UNLOCKING. I have spent 7-9 hrs trying to figure out unlocking my new diamond and this finally worked! This probably should help many others with the unlocking. By the way I was using XPMC on my PC. Again, thanks!!!
