Cause the 6.5 was released on 06.03.09
and the 6.5 is the one having all the ActiveSync issues

Nope:

6.1 - released on 06.03.09
6.5 - released on 06.09.09

Damn MR4 finally died on my phone. Was running the 6/3 release since it was out and everything was working fine. Then yesterday all my sounds/ringtones only played like the first second then stopped. I soft reset the phone and when it restarted I got the "Touch to launch Touchflo3d" or whatever. Soft reset a couple more times still same thing and also my phone connection icon showed the phone wasnt even connecting. Had to hard reset but decided to go back to stock for now :(.

And yes I did the whole stock/mr4/clear storage.

here is the cab for that too; auto maps it to power key

I'm having some struggles with the new Opera in this ROM. I can't for the life of my get it to scroll around properly. I try to lightly drag and it doesn't respond, or it opens the right click menu, then when I swipe it goes WAY too far.

I'm wondering if it may have something to do with these two registry keys:

<characteristic type="HKLM\Drivers\TouchPanel" translation="filesystem">
<parm name="PressureThreshold" datatype="integer" value="80866"/>
</characteristic>
<characteristic type="HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings" translation="filesystem">
<parm name="FingerPressure" datatype="integer" value="80866"/>
</characteristic>

I got those custom values from a thread around here, I'm wondering what you guys have for the default ones.

I have 42 for the first and 18 for the second ... way lower than the values you reported. I have not noticed any problems scrolling in Opera.

Program Memory = memory you have available real time and will fluctuate depending on usage (number of programs running, etc)

Storage Memory = memory remaining on the main device memory, not the internal storage

*Things you can do to free up Program Memory = close open programs in your task manager that are running in the background like browsers, email, etc. Also install cleanram which will reclaim memory that you lose and make your device run smoother. this is a great program. search cleanram.

*Things you can do to free up Storage Memory = make sure to install most of your cabs to internal storage rather than device memory. although some programs will require installation to device memory, most do not so this will free up storage space. Secondly, go into your email settings Start>Messaging>Menu>Tools>Options>Storage>check "When available, use this storage card to store attachments" this should free up some space as well. Lastly, install cleantemp. Cleantemp will let clean out the cache of ie, opera, livesearch, googlemaps, many more programs, this is huge especially with opera because all of the cache is going to device memory and will eat up your storage eventually. Opera Mobile is the biggest culprit so make sure to clear this cache no matter what. Cleantemp is great in that you can set up all of the programs you want cleaned, and do it every few days.

hope this helps.

anyone know which reg key that changes (the bolded part)

I use the following reg settings with Sashimi to force attachments to be stored on the storage card (you can pick your own custom folder).

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Inbox\Settings]
"PropertyPath"="\\Internal Storage\\MAPI\\"
"AttachPath"="\\Internal Storage\\MAPI\\Attachments\\"
