I think we just need to allow Mike to absorb all the new feedback about 4.3 and rerspond accordingly. I would like to point out that he specifically said that 4.3 was NOT a "final" release.

Therefore, I am still on 3.9, happy with it (aside from the no "sound" {ringers, clicks, music, et al that seems to be asscoaited with Bluetooth ops} issue, and will wait for the next "final" release before I do another flash.

Ok...so your saying when you do a soft reset it reverts to win mob and you get a error message? What the error message? I am trying to understand this...So if that's the case, it has to be a program installed or something linguiring around from previous flashes.....Maybe yall should share the list of programs installed, and are both of yall using "Kinetic Tone" Im asking these question assuming i am understanding what yall are saying. Because i done about 5 soft resets and ringer stays the same "birds2" and no error message, not one on 4.3. Are you doing any restores from backup programs?

My question is why are people using the phone option to set your ringtone?

Settings > Sounds & Notifications will easily allow you to change the ringtone....

Um.......you have all those problems with 3.9? Bluetooth for me on sprint works fine, although i am on 4.3 now..I transfer files, isten to ad2p music, ftp file sharing.....3.9 if i remember was great, i moved to a newer rom becasue sys changed and i wanted a faster response...My bluetooth disconnect every blue moon but music and calls are fine.

Basically, I'm noticing that I'm frequently missing calls. When I soft reset, the ringer is changed to the Windows Mobile default. I don't get any error messages, but I'm speculating that the ringtone revert problem and the missed call problem are somehow related to a ringtone being seen as "corrupted" and WinMo bails out to it's default upon reset.

The only third-party program I have installed is Garmin XT, and the only backup I restore is PIM Backup with my call logs and text messages. I have nothing else installed. I'm using Ring-Generic3, and I've flashed a stock ROM before flashing Mike's 4.3, with an additional hard reset in afterwards.

This is my first Mighty ROM that I've installed on the Diamond so bare with me if the things I've noticed are old.

In Settings -> System, what is the Uploader app for? Menu doesn't give you any options so I'm confused what I can do with this.

Also, when I press the power button or let the phone suspend, does anyone else notice in a dark room that the screen is still being backlit? I didn't notice this before with my Sprint ROM.

One last thing I noticed in addition to the stylus issue others were reporting: Does the home key on the phone do anything anymore?

Thanks

Uploader shows the status of facebook and/or youtube uploads. If you send photos or videos straight up through the air, you will be able to check their status here. Either the first time you do upload you will be prompted for the login info, or if you do not want to wait, check out the "account manager" under system > connections.

RE: screen not going black, I cannot confirm this on my phone under 4.3. In fact, i was happy to notice that the screen started going black while connected to activesync, where under 4.1 and 4.2, the screen would not turn off and if I hit the power button to force the screen black, I would lose my activesync connection.
