Re: [January 26th, 2009] M I G H T Y R O M 4 . 3 [SYS OS 20764 Build 20764] [UC]
I think we just need to allow Mike to absorb all the new feedback about 4.3 and rerspond accordingly. I would like to point out that he specifically said that 4.3 was NOT a "final" release.
Therefore, I am still on 3.9, happy with it (aside from the no "sound" {ringers, clicks, music, et al that seems to be asscoaited with Bluetooth ops} issue, and will wait for the next "final" release before I do another flash. |

Ok...so your saying when you do a soft reset it reverts to win mob and you get a error message? What the error message? I am trying to understand this...So if that's the case, it has to be a program installed or something linguiring around from previous flashes.....Maybe yall should share the list of programs installed, and are both of yall using "Kinetic Tone" Im asking these question assuming i am understanding what yall are saying. Because i done about 5 soft resets and ringer stays the same "birds2" and no error message, not one on 4.3. Are you doing any restores from backup programs? |

My question is why are people using the phone option to set your ringtone?
Settings > Sounds & Notifications will easily allow you to change the ringtone.... |

The only third-party program I have installed is Garmin XT, and the only backup I restore is PIM Backup with my call logs and text messages. I have nothing else installed. I'm using Ring-Generic3, and I've flashed a stock ROM before flashing Mike's 4.3, with an additional hard reset in afterwards. |

This is my first Mighty ROM that I've installed on the Diamond so bare with me if the things I've noticed are old.
In Settings -> System, what is the Uploader app for? Menu doesn't give you any options so I'm confused what I can do with this. Also, when I press the power button or let the phone suspend, does anyone else notice in a dark room that the screen is still being backlit? I didn't notice this before with my Sprint ROM. One last thing I noticed in addition to the stylus issue others were reporting: Does the home key on the phone do anything anymore? Thanks |

RE: screen not going black, I cannot confirm this on my phone under 4.3. In fact, i was happy to notice that the screen started going black while connected to activesync, where under 4.1 and 4.2, the screen would not turn off and if I hit the power button to force the screen black, I would lose my activesync connection. |
