Re: [March 25th, 2009] "One Rom To Rule Them All..." MIGHTYROM 4.8 [20771] [UC] [24MB

Look, everyone here has most likely been in mikes shoes, or soon will be, or maybe even is in his shoes right now!!!.. laid off, canned, suspended, or even been singled out for being different and let go for something stupid like that, my point is that Mike hasn't even stopped in for a simple update, it would be nice if he could just tell us , there will be an update , that he's done with the diamond, that he will address the ringer issue....SOMETHING ( if there has been a definite answer then im sorry i missed it) but if there hasn't been a definite answer to what is going on then i think that it is not a nice thing to do to ppl that have been with him from the start, i just think we deserve more then that for being so loyal to him for so long

do you know what i mean? I'm sorry for my last post if it made some ppl mad i was just upset because TP users get so much love and we the ppl that have been here since day one, dont even get any info on what is going on with the diamond.

I have tried EVERY rom out there that i can run on my phone and NON run as good as mighty rom and i dont even want 6.5 IMHO 6.5 sucks donkey A**, maybe i just need to get used to it but i really dont want to, all i really wont is a ringer fix for 4.8 and i will NEVER need to flash again because its simply the best rom out there, but who knows what will happen next??

I fixed your post for you.

I hear you. Problem is there is nothing to talk about. 4.8 is pretty much a finished project with the exception of a small ringer issue. Which btw, I have never happened upon. I think it's time for some people in here to move on. We may wait weeks for an update. Maybe one will never come. Idk, and frankly it doesn't matter to me. I have enjoyed all the work Mike has done so far and I feel he doesn't own me a thing. Folks, you really have three choices. 1) move on, 2) buy a pro, or 3) wait. That's it. Nothing more. All in all the only thing I can say is "Thanks Mike." =D>

You guys seriously need to relax.

How many times a day do you want me to wipe your ass?

I would just like to say thanks to Mike for all the great work. Your ROM makes my phone work much better than the shipped version. I hope your job search goes well. If I am ever upset with your work, I have the shipped version which I can revert to and then live with all the inadequacies of that ROM.

By the way, there are a couple of posts about possible fixes to the ringer issue, including deleting some registry keys and moving all the rings to the Application Data/Sounds folder. Any updates from the guys that tried that. I have used the .wav file fix and that has worked so far. It feels like a kludge fix to a bigger problem, so I was hoping that these other items might fix it. The other interesting problem is the Media Player causing a soft reset. It seems there might be some bigger problem processing encoded sound files. Maybe when I get a little more free time I will see what I can find.
