I am in your identical boat... this will be also my first custom ROM ever on my Diamond... but we shouldn't rush the Mike... for all in his time shall mobile goodness come to pass.

Mike's already got his tp ROM up to 4.7.2!? With a release just yesterday!? Someone needs to sneak our boy's tp away and replace it with a diamond! :-) Ocean's 14?

Just to be clear, my ringer went silent again today, but I still suspect that it has something to do with being connected to an external device (in this case, my car) via Bluetooth. However, in all the "no ringer" comments here, I have not seen anyone mention the loss of ALL sound (ringers, tones, music output, et al). Has anyone had this happen? A soft reset brings eveything back to life.

Either that...or we all go back to 3.9 (the last "final" release), stop whining to Mike and close this forum. Mike has a very full plate (from what I have been reading) and he is entitled to move on to the Touch Pro if that is what he wants to do.

Now fire up those flame-throwers and let me have it!!

Well, I think your right about 3.9. It works great and is bug free. closing the forum is not the answer. Mike clearly stated that he will still support his diamond roms but he has twice the workload as we know. of course twice the "free"load since he doesnt get paid and does it for our benefit. So he hasnt move on to the TP but will do both on his timetable. But like you said, 3.9 does rock other than not having the latest s2a and youtube...oh well. I can live with that. I know what you meant so I dont think anyone needs to get out the flame-throwers! :)

well it just happened to me i have been running 4.2 since the day it came out and it has been running perfect, now all of the sudden the ring tone is changing to the windows mobile one and going silent i think i will go back to stock untill this problem is fixed in the next release.

All kidding aside, his work is greatly appreciated by all here. If he moves on then good for him. I can learn to make my own ROM or go buy a TP!
