PPCGeeks - [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

My ram is always at about 47%-50% is without a program running :scratch:. Is everyone else experiencing this? With the crappy stock rom it was around 35%

the ram issue, or non issue - was addressed a long time ago. The memory is needed to make the tf3d and scrolling so smooth

This is probably due to the larger page pools that custom roms are using. I wouldn't worry about it unless things slow down. If anything that extra ram use is making things faster.

That's like the old engineering joke....the optimist says the glass is half full, the pessimist says the glass is half empty, and the engineer says the glass was 1) over-designed by 50 percent, 2) twice as large as it needed to be or 3) designed with a margin of error of +/- 50 percent.

With TF3D disabled and SPB mobile shell running, I read 37%. Even with TF3D running it's about the same..so 50% seems pretty high to me.

TF3D usually takes about 10% more ram from my observation. 50% is not too high if you extra apps running at startup. Just check through a task manager what is running and taking up your ram.
