I am not sure, but I am guessing it is the method described in this thread (4th post) over at xda:

I have been manually copying my modified version of thread_sms.htm over from the Internal Storage every time I flashed (I didn't know about SASHIMI until recently)... It will be nice having it in the ROM by default.

No complaints here Mike..yet another stable rom. I'm liking what I see. I haven't delved in too deep but I haven't had any problems yet.

I installed all my usual applications. RUNS Much faster, keyboard SIP works perfect..so does my addon FingerKeyb... Perfect Mighty, Perfect!

OK i'd like to start off by saying WOW.....i have tried every single rom possible for the diamond....just to test and so forth, i did try a mighty rom a few months back but another rom was released by someone else and im a flashin junkie so i switched. I put, 4.4.5 on two days ago and i fell in love with mighty rom.....battery life amazing, i do however add in some extra battery tweaks of my own, pollinterval change and so on, so i took the phone off the charger at 8am this morning 13 hours later it had only drained 10% not joke( i put it on my daughters life)....i text a bit, made about 4 or 5 15-20min phone calls, played with settings, got on palringo and some other stuff....moderate use but still other roms id be at 60-70 by then.....so hats off to u mighty....i dont know how u did it but u did. amazing amazing rom bro. i just flashed to the new one u posted and it is verry stable and quick. no issues so far except i cannot change the start icon, i can change all other taskbar icons but the start no biggie just weird...lol same thing on previous rom. but enough talk just thought id let u know M$ should fire all other employees and hire u bro, see ya on the boards!!!!!!!!!!1

Just flashed to 4.5 and I am quite disapointed that you caved, and removed the MightyROM off the globe. :P
