If you manage to decompile his ROM and swap the sys, I think you are going to be in for more than you anticipate. There are certain tweaks and customizations that each of the ROM authors do to the SYS to make it run well. If you change that, I think you will have other problems.

Instead of ripping his apart, why not use a kitchen and build your own?

WTF are you talking about? Did you read my post? I know all ROM's based off the leaked Sprint ROM with sys 20764 have freezing issues with txting, I was talking about playing solitaire.

I agree with salisburyl that the themes are great.
I am using the blue for now...waiting for green to be releases.

Custom task bar icons would make MightyROM a one stop shop for sure.

i jus now startd havn problems wit delays in textn and never had problems with previuos cell phones i had but i hav always had a problem with sprints picturemail so i guess the problem could come from either of the two

I don't know anything about kitchens or cooking ROMs, but I am a software developer, so I'm going to go out on a limb here (albeit a short limb) and conjecture that the speed issues may be one of Mike's tradeoffs to gain speed in other parts of the system (i.e., TF3D). There are a finite number of processor clock cycles in a given time period, and how those are allocated amongst all the running tasks determines which ones are fast and which are slow. I suspect Mike may have made a judgement call and taken cycles away from low-priority tasks like Solitare and given them to other parts of the system to make the overall system run faster (which we all love!). Just a thought.

I am too impatient to search back through the thread and find the exact quote, but I could swear that Mike said that 21xxx had a keyboard problem. Also, 20764 is supposedly faster than the 21xxxx version.

A program called Manila Customizer will do that for you.

All of my added ringtones are in \Windows\Rings and are WMA files. The ringtones that come with the ROM are almost always in \Windows, unless you move them.

Actually notification sounds are best off put in their proper folder located at "\Application Data\Sounds\" as it helps keep things cleaner by not cluttering up the Windows folder with more junk. They can also be MP3's without causing any issues as well.

does anyone know why tf3d won't start for me on the last few mighty roms? I can't figure it out... just keeps saying touch here to start touchflo3d.

and yes, I have touched there to try and start it but it doesn't start up.

oh yeah.. I have no service either. only data.
