PPCGeeks - [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

OK...this is the pickiest of pickies, but....I can't set an image to be the background on the Today page. This used to work by going to Pictures & Videos, select the image and Set As Background. Now, it just does the same as the Today screen settings in Options--just sets the image to the drop-down menu background. Have I forgotten something from the 3.9 days?

I think you need to go to setting tab on the tf3d to change the background instead of the Pictures & Videos. go to settings tab on tf3d and it's the 3rd button down. good luck.

Wow...now I am having a brainf**k....are you talking about TF3D Config? I don't have a settings tab in TF3D and that's the only access to TF3D that I know of. So be gentle with me http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/images/icons/icon7.gif and be very explicit. Thanks.

Nah, I just got too deep in the trees...it was the Settings tab on the TF3D interface itself (where you find Communications, Sound, etc.). There is actually a "Wallpaper" selection that changes the walllpaper on all pages, not just the Home page (did it always do that?? LOL...sheeesh).

One thing different that I noticed--when I would update the weather screen in 3.9, it would just update. With 4.4 I get a graphic that says the city name and "Dowloading weather data...". No big deal, just different.

Do you guys just flash from 4.3 to 4.4 or do you switch back to a official rom inbetween?
No clue why this would be necessary but I thought I saw a post which suggested this practice.

Mike recommends flashing back to a stock ROM before flashing one of his, just to be sure that there are no ghosts in the machine, as it were. But unless you experience weird operations or other dubious behavior, just flash mod ROM to mod ROM.

edit: Also just tested the backlit issue I reported in 4.3 and this has been fixed in 4.4 too. What all did you fix there Mikey?
Only thing I've had to manually edit thus far is the RSSHub lnk but thats no biggie.

Im losing my mind i swear i made a post but i lost it now :P
Anyways I just flashed to 4.4 but since then I dont have msn emoticons anymore on my mobile msn, is it possible to just reinstall msn mobile again? or perhaps find the missing emoticons thats display as red x's when I try tp input them?
