FM Radio

Is there any plan in the future to add the FM radio into the next rom update

Unless you get GSM headphones, and isntall the software, no:

been answered already, but i will reaffirm....

the fm radio capability is in the headphones, our headphones don't have the FM tuner incorporated. :(

Read my post. I posted ABOUT it; look for the link to the xda-developers forum. If can get me a copy of whatever you're using I'll test it with my headset.

Sounds like a plan.

I'll flashing be Juicy's 2.3 when it's released, so if you can't figure out how to package it independently cook up a ROM with it in included and I'll test it that way before I flash the 2.3 ROM.

I confirmed with the developer for Sprint that the radio feature for both the pro and diamond could not be included on the CDMA phones for some reason that he did not go into details about.

i don't think it matters what headphones you use. i just think telus has removed the fm radio, which sucks. any walkman or mp3 player needs headphones plugged in to work as an antenna, i'm sure it would be the same for this phone. It is just the wire plugged in that makes it work, you could actually just stick a piece of wire to do the same. i think telus has taken out the tuner. if anyone knows different please update.

Re: FM Radio

Hum!!! One needs to confirm the tuner has been removed from the TELUS hardware?

As confirmed from the Developer.. The FM radio was not an option from HTC for the CDMA phones.
