Sprint Diamond cannot get into bootloader !!
Following a successful flash to Dutty's Rom, I am unable to get the Diamond to post past the screen with Touch Diamond. No ROM info shows at the bottom. Also the Volume down, Soft reset (to go into bootloader on non sprint Diamonds) does not work.
Does anyone know how to get a Sprint Diamond into Bootloader mode to reflash rom. If not then I guess its back to the store with this one. I would like to hard reset before I return it, but there is no way to do a hard reset either ! OK... found the answer... POWER +VOL DOWN +SOFT RESET to go into bootloader !! YAY !! Hard reset.... POWER +VOL DOWN +CENTER OF DPAD +SOFT RESET (I prop the phone with the stylus resting on the table sitting in the reset hole and press the other buttons with both my hands !!) |

The manual should say, to hard resest, grow a third arm :angry7:

You should do your research first!
The XDA Diamond site is 95% GSM. PPCGeeks Diamond site is 99% CDMA. |

Hold down the Volume down key and power button, the take the tip of your stylus and press the soft reset button (bottom left corner of phone under battery cover). After you press reset button keep the Volume down and power button press until the bootloader screen comes up. Good Luck.
