Re: How To: Kitchens

it's picmail, i can't seem to OEMize that cab either.

i would suggest using the kitchen, and just don't select the items you don't want. then add your OEMized files ONE BY ONE, try building/cooking. if you get errors you know exactly what's causing it.

You have a double entry... plus about 95% of those camera edits are already in the Camera OEM.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Nice find!

I thought those camera edits opened up all the other camera modes.

OEM 3.00 Released!

OEM 3.00 Released!
3.00 C4RBON

[+] Landscape Manila - Telus
[+] Landscape Manila - Sprint
[+] Landscape Manila - Neon
[+] Landscape Manila - Alltel
[+] Comm Tab and Call History to All
[+] Flip It (thanks to the Wildberry Team)
[-] ATT Manila
[-] Verizon Manila
[-] Black on White Digital Clock
[#] Manila Base - 1.2.35097.1_1813.6
[#] Minor default changes and other tweaks

As you can see, this is mainly a Manila release, but the landscape support is a major feature, hence the new version number!

If you don't like a TouchFlo tab, then you can edit 26948339_manila to remove it

If you choose to install Flip It, try and keep the phone still during initial boot... the screen calibration doesn't like being flipped.

Thanks to C4RBON (especially Juggalo), Conflipper, and everyone else who helped with this.

Re: How To: Kitchens

I think there was some discussion about the volume fluctuation/volume level resetting, but did anyone ever pin down what component was causing this?

Thanks.

Re: How To: Kitchens

I noticed couple of weird things after upping the OEM to 3.00 from 2.04.

1. Phone wont ring occassionally and very random
2. Text message tab on TF3D doesn't work and cause TF3d to crash. I suspected that this is due to the new landscape mode manilla add-ons.

For now I'm going back to 2.04 OEM because it's more stable than 3.00 i think.

Re: How To: Kitchens

In the process of trying to create a updated ROM. But, I am having some trouble finding the edits I want to do.

1 - I would like to change the default ring tone path to my music folder (In the Sounds and Notifications app)
\Internal Storage\Music

2 - When I open up the Pictures and Video program it defaults to the phone storage - I tried to change HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Pictures to the following \Internal Storage\My Documents\My Pictures. But, everytime to open the Pictures and Video program it reverts back to the default settings

3 - Under Programs how can I remove Icons?

4 - How do I change the default sys fonts?

How can I do the above edits? I searched and searched for hours but could find anything to help me out.

TIA
