SORRY!! I didn't emphasize my phone HATES 20931 and yes mine wouldn't boot with that combo as well. It does with 20757. I just wanted to find out what I'm doing to have no volume control. It's not isolated either. The volume in Juicys ROMs works on those screens.

Mine screwy as well With Juicy 3.3 I could place phone calls.
Last night my screen was reversed, when I tried to take a scree shot it appear the correct way in the preview.

I'm almost thinking of just droppin' back to juicy 2.5 but OH!, the temptation.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Okay - I am going crazy here. I cant even find a manual on BuildOS - But, I have a better way to ask a question if the manual is not avail. In BuildOS I am looking for information on what each category the selections contain.

Entertainment = If I remove this what are the programs associated with that catagory?

So on and so forth.

I have googled, XDA'd, and PPC'd and cannot find what I am looking for. I also tried to get the manual from BuildOS - But, it says manual or missing. So.....Sorry to keep bugging. But, I want to get going -

I have been playing around with the OEMizer and that is exactly what I am looking for/to do.

I do have a great idea (atleast for me for a ROM) But, I really need to figure out each catagory in BuildOS.

Sorry to sound like a am begging here - But, this is the last piece I need to tide me over for awhile.

: )

As for Manilas you have to select ONE manila type (altell, sprint, telus, etc) AND the Base Manila checkmark.

For OEMizer you run the "Oemizer.exe" before running "build my rom.exe". Customizations? Do you mean Reg Edits, UC?

Re: How To: Kitchens

Well I'm just learning myself and honestly BuildOS doesn't have a manual on how to use it. And each time a new OEM or SYS module comes out it will show slightly different options.

As for the Entertainment option its the Bubble Breaker and Solitaire games. if you don't want em', uncheck it. I could go through most of the BuildOS stuff right now and sort of give you an idea on what each does but I'm at the office right now and can't sit down to write such a document. Do know though that there is a specific way some things need to be selected like manila files, you MUST select ONE carrier style AND the Base Manila Options for Manila to work right. Also there might be conflicting options like the Klaxon Application and Kevtris game wich share a file and BuildOS can't handle that. You have to chose to cook one and cab install the other one (you'd have to search for the cab install for the otherone).

Honestly its all a lot of trial and error, I'm not an expert but almost everything I've learned technology wise I've learned through a touch of trial and error. So basically just run Build My Rom.exe, select different combinations and try them out until you find a combination that works for you. Also, being on the bleeding edge of the SYS and OEM releases there are sometimes issues like the ones we found with BT on the new 20931 SYS, those you just have to learn to identify, report them here and the experts (Tobey, Ghetto, Juicy, Juggalo, etc...) will take care of us.

Happy flashing!!

Hehehe, well I just got a pretty decently working 20931 build installed yesterday. I reflashed it again with the same options an hour ago because I fell asleep just screwing around with it and restoring things from my backup randomly wich I think made some of my options go a little bezerk. I've spent the first hour of my day just re-configuring everything manually, re-synching to my Exchange, etc... Gonna give this one a whirl for the day and see how it behaves besides the A2DP not working (wich I don't use anyways...)

Re: How To: Kitchens

Ok there is a definite weirdness with the volume up button. Sometimes it works but sometimes it does two actions at the same time, volume up AND the select button on the dpad. I tried reflashing with an older UI - Volume Control OEM version but no dice.

I can concur with that. I didn't realize it until now, but mine does wierd things as well. When I use the volume slider, sometimes the bar at the top pops up. It still works, but just kinda strange.

On 20757 all bluetooth function work perfectly, on 20931 it's pretty much FUBAR.
