Yes Wmodem. It would only allow me to connect to using sprints network not the wifi connection. I don't know why but I got around it using someones tether cab. I was using that before. Also when I wanted to do the internet sharing with Wmodem installed there was only the option to connect with Sprint network.

since ive had some problems with using my own OEM folder in certain kitchens, im just wondering if i NEED to use the OEM folder that is in the OP for this kitchen.

Calc's OEM was originally based off of this one, and SHOULD be completely compatible still.

Awesome, thanks for the tip TC I used Calcu's OEM pack and your sys/base rom and I have a very functional, totally stable rom.. finally. I had tried every combination of flashing back to stock + numerous hard resets and just couldnt get any of the newer roms to remain stable enough to be reliable. This is pretty great so far though. Most of the current functionality with none of the bugs. Your roms are more stable for me than the stock Telus one.

I try cooking up my own ROM and now I'm stock in the "Touch Diamond" screen. Anybody knows what I did wrong and how to fix it.

Any number of things... try again with the stock options flashing from bootloader.

Sorry for the completely noob question. but i am a noob at cooking and i was cooking with calcu's 21210 kitchen and want to replace the 21210 rom and sys with the new 21501 rom and sys. i thought it was just replacing those two folders but it didnt work for me. is it more than that that i have to do?
