Sprint Diamond Custom Rom?
 
I have the sprint diamond and i wanted to know if i can load any diamond custom roms or only those specified for the sprint diamond? i ask because i want to see if there is a speedier rom out there i can use rather than the stock

the sprint rom is a cow. we are in the proses of putting together a sprint rom for you guys. i dont have a time estimate at this moment tho.

but the telus one kicks some serious arse!

thats fine with me its usually cluttering up and doing nothing anyway, what rom do you suggest?

you will be missing Sprint MMS, Sprint TV, Sprint Music Store, and OZ IM Messenger. and more.

have you unlocked your device first?

and remember flashing a custom rom is ALWAYS at your own risk the developers and other members take no responsibility for any mishaps.

will sprint mms work if i install the mms cab afterwards? ive installed roms countless times before but usually on devices that had more rom support and it was already told if it would work on my phone or not, i just wanted to double check since the diamond has been tricky for me sofar. also on a side note is there a quick way to get to mms i hate having to switch folders and inboxes in sms to read picmail. can i have a touchflo icon for that?

mms i don't have the cab... if it works for you please post it here or make a thread on it... i'm doin the same thing that you are with my sprint diamond

I have the sprint MMS cab as well as the OZ IM cab from the sprint rom.

i will be going this route also until i figure out how to build a sprint rom..but as for mms, sprint tv, and gps....i don't need em right now
