Great point, amikam. Any chance you could let me know one or some of the registry edit changes between 23563 Std. and 23566 Std., so I could check my sys.. ?

Hehehe, I know I could hard reset or reflash, save the registry, and compare it post Spb version, if it's a hassle for you.

mmm, im not really sure what i've changed... the things that are different for sure though are a lot of the packages versions.
other than that i dont think i've changed much besides cookie mod regedits, and taskbar ones.
sorry man, but i can't really point out all of them cuz its not really a short list.

Edit: Just took a quick look (have one Diamond with 23563 and one with 23566 in front of me), and the updated taskbar is showing up with the new icons after using Spb backup to reload my programs and settings on 23566. That said, I'll still do an actual registry compare, but it's looking like Spb may have not overwritten the registry. Hope so, anyway... Thanks again, amikam.

Do any of you guys use the Lumos program to control the background lights? Wondering if it makes a huge difference or if something better is out there.

youll get the same icons on the task bar... but check this for me..
look at the batt percentage from the task bar and compare it to the the percentage in settings\power\...
if they are the same... registry should be fine... if not... than im sure u overwritten it.
also. u can look at, lets say... commgr version... the new one is xxx.Z.xxxx the old one is xxx.T.xxxx. which is just one of the new packages i added.

Thanks amikam, the battery percentage from the task bar and the settings\power\ are the same, and the compare in UltraEdit is different. That said, I'm still not sure if Spb overwrote anything or not, lol... Sorry to pester you, but where would one find the commgr version?

btw.. i know there are a lot of people out there who are not fans of themes.... so ill be making a stock theme version with all the gray highlight and such.... also... when s2w will finish his theme ill make a version with that that will have red highlighted menus and such.
as far as gtx theme goes... ill give that a shot later.

hmmm so 6.5.5 faster than 6.5? ill have to check it out, been running 6.5 since u uploaded it, very smooth, and 108mb free after a soft reset aint nothing to complain about. will maybe try the 6.5.5 tomorrow if you do in fact mean it is faster than the 6.5
