In 2.5.20xx with proper landscape support, the onshowfullscreen and onhidefullscreen commands (for fake landscape) are probably just left over from 192x builds and do not work 100% with 201x. HTC has the fake landscape disabled by default in the version we're all using for VGA. To fix the alignment, you need to edit 285d005a_manila under the onshowfullscreen and onhidefullscreen sections changing BackGroundLevel0.Position.y and BackGroundLevel0.Size.height values.

I have corrected this for 6.5.x to work with my bg4all/vgahdwall-like mod. You can get the fix as the last attachment to this post. I haven't created a fix for 6.5 because I haven't flashed a 6.5 build for awhile and I basically just used trial-and-error to find the right values. Let me know if it works for you.

thanks for some great info on that.
i tried on 6.5... doesn't work... ill try to edit it like u said and see what happens... and when i have a little more time ill also check 6.5.x to see if it worked.
thanks again.

edit:
editing the lua file with new values worked like a charm.... thank u soo much again.
only one question... the file is bigger by 20kb from your version of 285d005a_manila after recompiling it... do u know why?

HI AmiKAM, Yeah I guess if you need more than 15 person in SENSE PEOPLE TAB, you should use that option at CoOkie Monster Contact Quicklinks.
Anyway I guess people should know by now that in "Sense SETTING tab" you can ADD/REST and re-arrange "SENSE TABs". So if someone don't want that SENSE TAB just unckeck it and that is.
Why I would keep PEOPLE because when you press the "name" under the photo instead of the BIG PHOTO (Square) of your contacts. You get to the "SENSE Profile" with all the numbers, email and SMS of that person. So it is as easy as choose want you want to do: call his home, work, mobile, or send email to email1, email2, or send a SMS to number 1, number 2. All that options enable with Just one push, or SLide to see your last conversation (SMS), EMails, Appointments or Calls.
"ONE MORE THING" (NOW I'm sound like Steve JOB at MACs conferences. LOL).
I believe that is the philosophy of "SENSE" concept, which I like a lot.

to all u guys using 6.5 rom try this cab to fix the alignment of the background.
thanks to mwalt for pointing out the spot that needed fixing.
also... check out his response cuz he has a link to a thread with cab that will fix it for all u 6.5.x users(i didn't test it yet, but should work).

let me know if u have issues... i tried my best to make sure it aligns good.. but i used dark backgrounds to check... so i might have missed it by a tiny bit.

All it does it cause the battery to be charged from a usb port at the EXACT SAME RATE it is charged from the wall socket using the adapter supplied by HTC. You can observe this for yourself with a battery meter and enabling/disabling fastcharge. If you install fastcharge driver, and never charge via usb, it will do nothing to your phone. All no2chem did was remove the limit of 500ma of the usb charging built into the driver. Any effect 'observed' is placebo or due to another factor than the fastcharge via usb. [/rant off] :)

******** MWalt2 & AMIKAM (OR anyone if know how)**********
Sorry to ask this but I'm posting at CoOKie Monster MOD searching: why Battery Drain when CoOKie Monster Mod is installed in the ROM.
We are trying to figure out if "No2chem - nueBattery" together with CoOKie Monster MOD is the reason why Battery Drain FAST.
(Well I believe is just the No2chem's battery driver and CHT has nothing to do)
So MichelDiamond and CoOkie Monster ask me if I can explain this:
(post #6130)

D).- please write a short description, how to disable nueBattery and how to check if it's installed. But nueBattery is not the problem itself - it's on of the keys of it - could you investigatie perhaps, which keys are changed by no2chem - so we can identify this key exactly and the Co0kie knows, what he has changed.

Can you help me with the answer???

Which I can't respond completely, I only know the part of press the ICON of the "SCRIPT" or "MACRO" (which is his correct name for this kin of file ??) named "FastCharge" that enable/disable nueBattery.
Just a question please don't feal sorry if you can't help me to answer,
just let me know. Thanks in advance

these are the regedits that the rapid charge comes with:
HTML Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wei Enterprises\Batt]
"DisableFlightMode"=dword:1
"FastCharge"=dword:1
"Version"="210"

when u push disable fastcharge... that value will go to 0 instead of 1, and probably the fact that this regedit exists means that the driver is installed.

and here are the ones he asked u for... they r from my personal device but u should have the exact same ones.

ok so hkcu/controlpanel/power doesn't exist.

and this is everything that is in the other one:

Glad it worked for you and now I won't need to do it for 6.5 :). How did you recompile? If you used cookie's luatool, it includes debug info unless you use a specific parameter to have luatool not add the info. I usually recompile just using m9editor, which does not include debug info and file sizes are the same as the original. Either way, the edited script should work just fine.

thanks.

I found I had to sometimes enter decimal place after the BackGroundLevel0.Position.y value (ie 587.5) to get it to align perfectly.

Question: is there a way to go to the standard reminder notification? I generally have the reminders set for 1-3 hours before an event, and there is only the option to snooze 5 minutes...sometimes I'd like to be able to snooze an hour or half hour or the like. I haven't gotten the opportunity to flash to the latest ROM but may do so tonight to give cookie a try.
