REQUEST: The Making of a real cricket carrier cab.

I am tired of running through problems only because I need this or that. the main cricket crap is already inputed into epst. So that doesn't have to be changed. But every rom that is tried out by anyone who is cricket related needs to do alot of work to get things working right. The previous cricket carrier cabs don't work. Everyone keeps saying to use them like DCD but they don't work. I've tried on numerous phones.

I have found out what does work. There is two cab files located here:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=81027

that work fine! Open them in the right order and boom, WAP and MMS work flawless except for a small issue. The pictures come in as small thumbnails because cricket changes crap around. Another cab needs to be made. However I think it would be best to input those two cabs and another thing to change the registry to fix this issue and have flawless running Cricket Services. The picture fix is a registry edit, and found here:
http://www.howardforums.com/showpost...7&postcount=10

My request is that someone take the two cab files and the registry edit, and make one single Cricket Carrier Cab that does it all! That way all we have to do is open that one cab and were done!

If you need any info from me I'm glad to give it. I only request this because I myself go through roms like fuel.... And I have seen others in the same need as I am. And I know people don't like doing all sorts of reg edits and what not to get crap working right on cricket.

forgot to mention earlier that the creator ryanmogul6800 that made those two cabs you have linked to has already created the cab that you wish. I have all three versions of his cabs. The one that you link to is just slightly different to one the builds I linked you to. I have noticed its best to run the cleaner cab then run the wap/mms cab with out soft resetting in between cab installs. Depending on what ROM your on you have to test the cab out and find out which on works best for you.

On the newest energy rom 5.2.32.2R1 works perfect for me..

A cab with all three included would be nice also maybe an OEM too.

Okay I'll been using Ryan's Arcosoft and carrier combo cab and every rom I load with it...the cab destroys the taskbar icons. Is there a way to fix that or is it better to use the cab posted at top in the first post.

Okay...I managed to fit Ryan's carrier cab/mms cab with the fix for the small picture problem. Its seems to be working good.

Now...has anyone found where the stuff is located for the taskbar icons?

It usually messes up the battery and speaker icon.
