Adding Verizon TEC
 

I have heard both answers so I am confused. I have read I can add it but a Verizon rep said no.
I bought my wife a used XV6800. I will be adding it under her number in a few days. She currently has no insurance just some extended warranty on the line now for her samsung sliding phone. Can TEC be added to her number when I swap the XV6800 esn in?
