Virgin Mobile MMS & Internet settings?
 

My service is through Virgin Mobile, and after a little bit of work, I finally got my old Sprint Apache (PPC6700) working with it.

So far so good... Voice works, Text Messaging works, but I can't get MMS or Internet to work.

I know where the settings need to be entered in to the Apache, but I can't seem to find them ANYWHERE. I've found MMS and GPRS settings for Virgin UK and Virgin Au, but I can't find anything for the US.

I also looked around for codes to access programming on my old phone, the Virgin M1000 Wildcard but no luck there either.

If anyone can tell me what the MMS gateway is, and/or the internet proxy server it would be greatly appreciated :)

Would you mind sharing how you got virgin mobile on your 6700. I have one and would like to use virgin mobile on it.

I would also like to know. I have the same phone as u and i got calls and text messaging working but no internet, no pic mail and no vid mail or anything. I have also been able to find the AU and UK settings but none for the US. And I already know that If I call CS they aren't gonna have a clue so im not even gonna bother calling. If someone has an answer to this I'd also like to know.

I find it very annoying how all the overseas settings are visible plain as day on teh web but for USA, we're left in teh dark.

Go over to Howard Forums and search in the Virgin Mobile section. One guy said he got WAP to work but then everyone got on his case so he wouldn't give the details. Whatever you do don't mention any thing about changing the e$n in a post.

Lol. I've looked at that post, and tried working with those settings. It could be a password issue idk.
I think one of the reasons that the guy's posts have been ignored, is because the settings haven't worked.
