question about data plan between ppc and regular phone
 

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a different data plan that sprint requires you to get for using data on a ppc, versus using data on like a standard flip phone. what i mean is like with alltel, I used to have a flip phone , many years ago, and when i switched to ppc they told me it was "a different kind of data" for the ppc's so i needed to change my plan. the reason i ask is i was wondering if someone cloned a esn from a flip phone with data plan, to a ppc, if the data would work , or if you would have to have sprint activate something else? Sprint has data plans that work on any phone. My wife had "Powervision" on her old razr and it works just fine for data on her new touch pro. I do not know what the current data plans are called since we're on an old retentions plan. The only thing would be if you were switching from a non-EVDO data plan to an EVDO phone. They require you to have the EVDO data plan (but you'd have to have a pretty old plan to have the non-EVDO data).

Just get the $15.00/month unlimited plan they have. That's all you need. I can do everything with it :)

Nope, no different for using a PPC.

On an off topic, my girlfriend is looking to change providers in the coming month, Verizon, unlimted PDA data 30.00! Holy Moly! My Everything Plan is looking so sweet these days!
