Sprint VS Verizon

Who has the better coverage?

Who has the better plans? (Pocket PC Plans)

I have sprint and I love the 99 plan for the Touch Pro. I want to get the omnia or the Saga for Verizon for my girl but I am trying to talk her into sprint. What do you guy think of both carriers in terms of plans and coverage.

Wow, this thread is going to get ugly...

Sprint over Verizon for me. Cost wise and coverage for me is hands down better. I have had both (as well as Alltel, T-Mobile and AT&T) and I like Sprint the most. Though for customer service they are not too good, compared to some of the others.

Look at you local coverage maps for both carriers, I prefer Sprint because its cheaper, faster and the don't restrict thier phones :-)

That and Sprint Touch Pro > Verizon Touch Pro, so there's no contest.

Sprint has tons of problems with dropped calls, calls that don't ring even though you have two bars of service, texts coming in hours late (or not at all) etc etc etc etc

VZ service is more expensive, but has none of these problems. You definitely get what you pay for & you can use a Sprint phone on VZ service.

I had a dropped call every day with Verizon and only 1 dropped call with Sprint, like I said above, its all about coverage in your area :-)

I coverage was so bad with Verizon, they waived my ETF :-)

+1 for the local coverage. Like I said, for me Sprint is better, but I know others will find Verizon (or other carriers) better.
