SERO Plan compatibility Question (HTC Diamond)

Today I found that the ESN of the Samsung Epic that I'd been using on PagePlus had actually cleared up and could be used on its native Sprint network. I couldn't really afford any of their current plans but I saw that people occasionally sell those ultra rare $30 SERO plans on eBay. From what I've read, people who try to activate newer phones (one member quoted the TouchPro 2 as the newest device compatible) on these plans are forced into paying an additional $20 per month. I have an old broken Diamond with a clear ESN that I could use with the Epic, and I just wanted to confirm that activating the Diamond with the $30 SERO plan will not bump the plan up to $50. Has anyone seen this or had any experience with it before?

Thanks.

Re: SERO Plan compatibility Question (HTC Diamond)

There's pretty much no way possible to have that phone on a CDMA plan under $50.

You have already been warned once about ESN cloning.
It will not be tolerated on this forum AT ALL.
