Extra line on my sprint account, use it for hotspot.
 

I have an extra line on my Sprint EPRP That is no longer being used. Its still under contract, so I am trying to find a use for it.
i would like to use it as a hotspot account, but not sure if sprint will allow me to add a hotspot device under the extra line.
Is it possible to just pick up one of the 3G hotspot devices on ebayand activate it online without having to change my plan?
Any suggestions?

I didnt want to be talked into having to buy a new device under contract, or to have my plan upgraded.
I would like to do something like this:
Sprint Novatel 3G Mobile Hotspot Wireless MiFi 2200 | eBay

And just add it to that line, but I think sprint will want to rope me into a data plan, even though my EPRP line includes unlimited data :(

i dont see anything that a phone wouldn't do... I mean my touch pro 2 can hotspot for any wireless device i've tried with, laptop/ipad/computer/another phone

I'm on the sero plan so it works well, I just have to worry about the quick drain on battery but I'm normally able to plug it into wall so I'm fine

I mean a phone IS a 3G hotspot device if you use a rom that has it, or an app for it...
