Sprint posts wider loss in Q2

Will Sprint ever GET IT!!!
When you have longtime subscribers with grandfathered plans the objective is NOT to lose them but to let them maintain their plan even if that means having them switching over to newer phones (Evo 3D etc.) but basically you do not punish them with the ultimatum that if you switch your TP2 with an EVO 3D or any 4G phone your plan goes up. It's that simple long Sprint subscribers are going somewhere else rather than being bullied by stupidity!!! Verizon no longer has unlimited Data but if you have WiFi at home or work or where ever ....you basically will take advantage of this and reduce your data use on the 4G network and chances are you will NEVEr exceed your usage of data with either Verizon or AT&T.

Sprint is definitely hurting. Not sure there is a solution at this point though.

Yes, this doesn't look good:

Warning: Sprint Nextel May Be Hiding Weakness (S, T, VOD, VZ)

Sprint, with all of its issues, is still a cheaper option than AT&T and Verizon, especially since they don't throttle. It would be a shame if they go under leaving no real choice in the market.

How is sprint doing that bad now in days with all the evo and epic owners. Not counting all the other phones they have available. When sprint reports its earning or losess does it include how Nextel is doing because maybe nextel is that used here in the states anymore like it was in the begining but its very used/popular in other countries. Also virgin and boost are those thrown in the mix?

If sprint goes down I would go to tmobile not paying verizons high prices or deal with att's bad reception and terrible cs everyone complains about. That's if tmobile is still available and not bought already buy att.

Looks like America is soon going to have a duopoly when it comes to national carriers.

I left Sprint after 11 years...of course, once AT$T changes anything on my plan, I might come back.

well with their sloww ass speeds in recent months and in many places there's no question as to why this is happening. I'm willing to wait it out for network vision as that's supposed to put an end to all of this but if they introduce tiered data then I will goto somewhere else (eg Tmobile).

their hurting because their network sucks and is too congested. also as ive said many times you can kiss the unlimited data goodbye when the iphone 5 drops this fall. not to mention wimax is a pretty much fail in comparison to lte.

yes sprint has the best line up of phones but it doesn't make up for all the other issues.

@masetas

Sprint Newsroom | Sprint Network Vision Information Center

as far as this goes I don't think I've seen those new units anywhere at least on the sprint sites I've found.
