Sprint Called to Warn of $200 Overage
Got a call from Sprint today informing me that my bill that'll be sent out in 4 days has 375 minutes over my limit for an overage charge of about $175.
I was NOT expecting to have gone over my minutes this month so I listened... The lady said that as a courtesy, she can add 300 extra minutes EVERY MONTH, FOR FREE as long as I'm a Sprint customer, and backdate that to take care of most of the overage. Then she said she could apply an additional 100 minutes for $5 to take care of the rest of the overage. I obviously agreed, and she said my next bill will just have an additional one-time $5 charge with no overage charges. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is impressive. Sprint called ME before I get my bill to take care of MY irresponsibility. Guess who just scored some major points with me? |

What self respecting Sprint customer doesn't have an unlimited plan? LOL
That was nice... The same thing happened to me a long time ago when I had a flip phone and no data plan. p. |

Re: Sprint Called to Warn of $200 Overage
So uhh dumb question real quick... are you sure it was Sprint who called you and not one of those third party scammer types?
I would call in and verify that the representative did in fact do what she promised. |
Re: Sprint Called to Warn of $200 Overage
Sounds like you need to get a Google voice # and a free "Sprint to Home" # added to your account. Then you'll have unlimited anytime to any number.
Call retentions and ask for the Pick 3, they'll tell you it's $5, tell them your friend had it added for free, they'll refuse, ask about a Sprint to Home #, hopefully they'll offer it for free! Edit: Looked it up and Sprint to Home is also listed as $5/month http://shop2.sprint.com/en/services/..._to_home.shtml Never hurts to try for perks though! |
