google voice (with Sprint intergration) question
OK someone please explain how or what I'm supposted to see with Google voice and the intergration with Sprint??
I activated my G-voice and it does email me a transcribed message however I still have to dial my google number to check it (not my sprint number). Also my phone (TP2) sees no vmail count in the regestry now, I assume that notification is gone?? I want to make my Gvoice # and my Sprint # one in the same but it says I need to port it over, what does that mean??? Do I leave Sprint? Does my number leave Sprint? How is it that I intergrated them but still have two seperate numbers?? It seems as though Gvoice behaves exactly as it did before this "Sprint intergration" stuff.. |
Re: google voice (with Sprint intergration) question
when you go to your google.com/voice account, click on settings
from there to to Spring's Integration. Click option two, dail *38 when it tells you. Done. |
Re: google voice (with Sprint intergration) question
Well the problem was my work discount. After Sprint got that sorted out I was able to activate my google voice using my sprint number no probs.

Re: google voice (with Sprint intergration) question
I have a related question: What's the point?
I am not sure I understand the big deal. Sprint changed things so that you could use Google Voice as your primary voicemail service a year ago. Does this change simply allow you to place calls directly through Google Voice without having to dial into Google Voice now--or use a Google Voice Dialer on your phone? If the last is true, what happens to your actual Sprint number? Do you loose it forever? |
Re: google voice (with Sprint intergration) question
Good to know about Google Voice. Is it about mobile.
