Reported lost phone found..
 

Couple of months ago, I had lost my Sprint Epic.
Yesterday while cleaning my car, I found it in between the mats in my car.
When checked the esn through sprint it says it's clean. (I went straight to asurion and not sprint because they just told me to call them last time)

Can I get the 100 deductible if I return the phone?
What are my options here guys?

not sure but I don't see why not. if they won't take it back just sell it :)

Well, I don't want to sell it and find out that I will get in trouble or anything...

pm me, i know exactly what happened from first hand experience from when i worked at a corporate store... ill explain there since they dont want this type of talk on the boards.

if you offer it back to them and they turn you down i don't see how you could get into trouble.

It's a non-refundable deductible. Technically, it's fraud, but I've seen this happen a few times.

Best thing to do if you're afraid of trouble is to contact Asurion about it. Otherwise, sell it.

I'm considering it.
I already have 2 people inquiring for it.
But we will see how it goes.

It's not that big of a deal, it happens all the time.

The right thing to do is return it to Asurion. The American thing is to use it as a WiFi device at home or something.
